Deep groove ball bearing
The famous ball deep groove ball bearing basically consists of two rings, steel ball, retainer, and grease. The sealing ring and dust cover are used to prevent the intrusion of foreign objects such as dust. The main purpose of using lubricants is to reduce friction and rolling element wear.
Cage
The cage will be mechanically affected by friction, tension and inertial force during operation, and will also be chemically affected by certain lubricants, additives, solvents or heat sinks. Therefore, the design and material of the cage play a vital role in its performance and bearing reliability.
The cages of famous ball deep groove ball bearings are divided into the following two types:
1、Rivet type cage
The high-precision strip steel is stamped and formed into a cage with spherical pockets, which is fixed with rivets. Usually used for small and medium deep groove ball bearings.
2、Synthetic resin material cage
Synthetic resin cages are mixed with many materials, such as nylon PA66 with glass fiber, which has self-lubricating and low noise performance. Very low noise bearings usually used for famous balls.
Inner ring structure
There are two types of inner ring structures of famous ball deep groove ball bearings:
Dust cover and sealing ring
The sealing performance plays an important role in the cleanliness of the lubricant and the service life of the bearing. The internal sealing structure of the bearing must be able to prevent the intrusion of foreign matter and the leakage of the lubricant. In the case where the outside of the bearing cannot be sealed, a bearing with a sealed structure is usually used.
Corresponding sealing forms for different inner ring structures
V-groove series
Steel dust cover (ZZ)
Steel dust cover, suitable for occasions with good external environment; suitable for high-speed operation occasions.
Rubber seal, non-contact type (2RZ)
The sealing performance is general and it is suitable for occasions with relatively high external environment; occasions with high starting torque.
Rubber seal, double lip contact (2RS)
Good sealing performance, suitable for occasions with harsh external environment, large starting torque, suitable for occasions with general speed.
Flat series
Steel dust cover (ZZ)
Steel dust cover, suitable for occasions with good external environment; suitable for high-speed operation occasions.
Rubber seal non-contact (2RZ)
The sealing performance is general, and it is suitable for occasions with relatively high external environment; occasions with high starting torque.
Rubber seal contact type (2RS)
The sealing performance is general and it is suitable for occasions with relatively high external environment; occasions with high starting torque.
